Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez stated that the weighted average price at the end of the Renewable Energy Resource Areas Solar Power Plants-3 (YEKA SPP-3) competition is 21.5 kuruş per kilowatt-hour and said, “With the installation of the power plants, an investment of approximately 6 billion liras will be realized. With 1.7 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity generation, we will be meeting the electricity needs of more than 600 thousand households from here.” said.
Speaking at the YEKA GES-3 Contract Signing Ceremony, Dönmez reminded that 2 solar and 2 wind YEKA competitions have been completed so far.
Dönmez stated that there were more than 700 applications from different cities of Turkey to the YEKA GES-3 competition, adding that this is important for the spread of renewable energy in Turkey.

Noting that the weighted average price at the end of the YEKA GES-3 competition was 21.5 kurus per kilowatt-hour, Dönmez continued as follows:

Emphasizing that YEKA RES-3 will be realized with the condition of using domestic turbines, Dönmez said, “For the first time, an inverter labeled ‘Made in Turkey’ will be used in the power plants to be established. Locally produced photovoltaic modules with at least 70 percent locality rate, containing domestic cells to be produced by processing blue wafer, will be used. ” used the phrases.
Firms with the lowest bids
At the end of the speech, the contracts were handed over to the 3 companies with the lowest bids, representing all companies.
The first company is Margün Enerji Üretim Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, which submitted a bid of 18.2 kurus per kilowatt-hour for the 15-megawatt Osmaniye-2 connection region, the second company was KON-TEK Control Technologies, which offered 18.5 kurus per kilowatt-hour for the Uşak-2 connection region; Otomasyon Sanayi Ticaret Anonim Şirketi and the third company became Özdem Turizm ve Ticaret Sanayi Anonim Şirketi, which submitted a bid of 18.5 kurus per kilowatt-hour for the Mardin-3 connection region.
